IMS guides the efficient and effective management of our operations to ensure consistent adherence, guaranteeing safety and reliability.

Our operational expertise and industry know-how sets us apart from competitors. We continually enhance our capabilities through new design rules, employee training, procedure updates, and expert feedback. Additionally, Gasal’s World Industrial Management group facilitates the exchange of best practices among all of the global Air Liquide operating and maintenance teams. This includes the implementation of safety rules, ensuring operational efficiency, and a continuous emphasis on training programmes.

Gasal Integrated Management System (GIMS)

The Gasal Integrated Management System (GIMS) is a comprehensive and consistent set of closed loop management processes that prescribe the activities necessary to operate industrial gas operations in a safe, reliable and cost-effective manner, in compliance with local mandatory regulations for health, safety and the environment (HSE).

GIMS was established based on Qatar laws and regulations, QatarEnergy health, safety and environmental (HSE) protocols and our partner, Air Liquide’s Industrial Management System (IMS). 

Gasal’s commitment to maintaining ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) standards essentially aims to provide products and services to the market that satisfy its customers’ needs and expectations, manage and protect the environment and provide a safe and healthy risk-free work environment.

Gasal is dedicated to environmental preservation and maintaining natural ecosystems and across our two industrial locations we have effectively established waste management protocols across our sites. As an organisation, we consider minimising waste generation paramount and have developed procedures for waste disposal efficiently segregating waste into hazardous, domestic, and inert categories. Collaborating closely with local suppliers Gasal also ensures environmentally responsible waste disposal, adhering to international standards and local regulations.

Water Management

Gasal recognises water is a vital and rare resource. Therefore, our operations prioritise the optimisation of water usage and the minimisation of wastewater generation. Water is integral to Gasal’s activities, particularly in cooling towers and heat exchangers used during air gas production. Our team of experts take pride in having successfully optimised processes to reduce water consumption and eliminate wastewater discharge. Our commitment to water conservation also extends to leveraging state-of-the-art technology and repurposing wastewater for value-added purposes.
